About The Artist Robert Whitley All of the creations in this presentation were originated by me and made one by one in my studio with one assistant. Each was built by hand, either to my own design or in the traditional forms of past centuries. Fortunately for me, at a very early age I was trained by my father, an artist and antique collector, to appreciate quality and excellence of aesthetics as they pertain to all objects and to the art of living. I attempt to put these qualities and my heart and soul into each creation I originate. You can be the judge of whether I have succeeded. I use the very best material I can get. I cut no corners, spare no effort, to do the best I can. I offer these pieces at a price that reflects the quality of the materials and the care that went into shaping, joining, and finishing them. In this sense, you can be certain that you will get what you pay for. Because of the limited number of items I can make this way, not everybody can own one.
