About The Artist Michele R. LAVALETTE Michele R. Lavalette was born in France.After studies at the Ecole Nationale d'Arts Decoratifs de Limoges,she specialized in trademark design for the fashion world. In 1970,she became a freelance photographer,her pictures published in well-know magazines such as Photo,Vogue,Oggi,Figaro,Elle, Stern ,where she won the 1982 Photo Journalim Prize In 1984,she decided to dedicate all her time to her first passion (painting) and came to live in a very quiet island, Anguilla. Her work was an immediate success. Her artwork is sought after by collectors worldwide.They hang in collections in the U.S.,Canada,England,Spain,Italy,Germany,France,Autralia as well as the Caribbean.
